A true reference on the French indie electronic scene, Zombie Zombie has been feeding the most discerning ears in France and beyond for nearly 20 years with their shamanic krautrock, magnified live during the trio’s signature groovy rituals. Catch Zombie Zombie on tour across France and Europe in 2025, including June 5 at Le Trabendo in Paris. On stage, they’ll be performing “Funk Kraut,” their second LP on Born Bad Records, released March 7, 2025.

With “Funk Kraut,” Zombie Zombie delivers a cohesive classic, exemplifying the style they’ve honed over a dozen albums: instrumental music played live, handcrafted with synths and percussion. Recorded in the Landes by Laurent Deboisgisson in the studio of Cheveu’s singer, the album is immediate, clear, and open, marking a departure from their previous concept album.

On stage, the drummers face each other across the stage, weaving the intricate patterns that define the band’s sound. Each member switches between drums, percussion, and small West Coast-style synths, creating a hypnotic, finely interlaced live experience.
