Yirji (BE)

At 24, Yirji has already explored many artistic paths. From cinema to music and theatre writing, he weaves his diverse inspirations into colorful songs, sometimes euphoric, sometimes deeply melancholic. It was through lyrics, from Odezenne to Disiz and The Strokes, that he fell in love with music, developing a universe that blends curiosity, passion, and creativity.

His debut EP, JSPLUS, is raw and intimate. Seven tracks born from a breakup, seven fragments of memory navigating shock, pain, and reconstruction, carried by finely crafted lyrics and productions that fuse new wave coldness with organic live energy. From LAVILABA, a summer-spleen track tinged with farewells, to LES MAINS + LES YEUX, a confession of a young man who regrets everything, Yirji explores absence with calm, almost surgical precision. Between experimental pop, rap-infused chanson, and alternative pop, JSPLUS opens a first major chapter in which Yirji finally reveals himself to the public.
