Romane (FR)

Of Franco-Gabonese origin, Romane grew up in an environment steeped in African American music. At the age of 7, she wrote her first song. Extremely reserved and anxious, writing allows her to express feelings she keeps inside and to talk about her pain or heartbreak.

In September 2021, Romane released her first EP with the label Un Plan Simple, distributed by Sony. Her musical influences are diverse, ranging from powerful vocalists such as Rihanna, Adele, and Tracy Chapman, to rappers and RnB artists like Aaliyah, Jhene Aiko, SZA, Rosalía, Frank Ocean, Kid Cudi, and more.
