Please (FR)

In 2009, Louis, Dylan, and Aristide, armed with slightly out-of-tune guitars and audacious confidence, delivered a “personal” take on the classics Sympathy For The Devil and Hey Joe at their first concert together. The result? A crowd of middle schoolers caught between outrage and a strange fascination. It was chaos, but promising chaos.

Please is the kind of band that makes you question your own sense of time. The Parisian trio arrived on the French scene in 2023 like they had stepped out of a Supergrass music video, with complete mastery of pop’s codes. In an era dominated by solo artists, Please stands out as an anomaly: a real band with a sound, an attitude, and palpable chemistry. The three trailblazers quickly gained attention thanks to flawless live performances at Rock en Seine, two shows at Boule Noire, La Maroquinerie, and a sold-out Badaboum months in advance.

Their 2024 EP, Flashlight, with its post-electro Supertramp vibes, firmly launched the group into modernity and caught the attention of acts like L’Impératrice and Justice, who invited them to perform at the Accor Arena last December. The label “new face of the French Touch” might seem easy to apply to their music, but Please is something else entirely, transcending fleeting trends and categories. Relentless riffs, ultra-effective melodies, and an attitude that redefines the notion of “cool”: Please now moves one step ahead, taking listeners on a journey unlike anything they’ve heard before.

The band is already working on their first full-length album for 2026, which is shaping up to be a classic.
