Les Louanges (CA)

Les Louanges is the project of Vincent Roberge, a singer-songwriter with raw talent and undeniable musical boldness. Hailing from Lévis, Vincent made a strong impression with the release of his first album, La nuit est une panthère, which charmed critics upon its release in September 2018. The album continued its momentum in 2019, earning numerous accolades, including a spot on the highly selective Polaris Music Prize longlist, a Juno nomination for Francophone Album of the Year, and the coveted title of Révélation Radio-Canada. To top it all off, he won three trophies at the Gala ADISQ: Alternative Album of the Year, Album of the Year – Critics’ Choice, and Arrangements of the Year (shared with his collaborator Félix Petit).

Marking a shift toward a more pop-oriented sound, yet maintaining his ambitious and inventive musical vision, Les Louanges released his second album, Crash, in January 2022. This record embodies the post-impact period, the dizzying yet revealing imbalance that the artist experienced following the upheavals of the past three years.
