Leea (BE)

Leea is a young Belgian artist who sings to us about love, because at 21, that’s all you know. She explores her freedom through music, writing, composing, and producing her own songs, yet with a few decades of delay for this Belgian, who breathes the air of an era from which remarkable women would emerge: Françoise Hardy, Brigitte Bardot, France Gall, Sylvie Vartan, and others.

There is a certain innocence that comes through in her composition and creation, built on ten years of classical piano and music theory. There is a certain precision in the words she chooses and sings, words that make us invent our own stories: singular yet universal. There is a certain modesty in her love songs. “Why love songs?
