Holly North (DE)

Hailing from the Baltic coast, Holly North was immersed in music throughout his childhood. At the age of seven, he was encouraged to learn the cello, before venturing into piano and electric bass during his teenage years. After a stay in New York, he became familiar with the electronic music scene and quickly made a name for himself through a series of acclaimed releases, including his 2021 single Youth, which garnered over 1.5 million streams, before joining Christian Löffler’s band Kipling the same year. His musical motto is simple: “Always different and always new!”

Holly North draws inspiration from his eclectic and diverse musical background, blending acoustic and electronic elements into deeply melodic soundscapes. Within a collection of tracks tinged with nostalgia yet constantly dynamic, listeners are offered a soundtrack to express thoughts, emotions, and concepts that sometimes feel too vast to convey through words alone.

On stage, Holly North performs with a multitude of instruments, including his cello, reflecting his passion and enthusiasm for sonic exploration. He is currently working on integrating a drummer into his performances while bridging the gap between neoclassical and electronic approaches to music. As a live artist, he has performed across Europe, accompanied Christian Löffler on his 2024 EU tour, and played at the renowned Tanzwüste at Fusion Festival.
